Prevent acne actually will be very important if people do not want to get involved with the long process of acne treatment as well as the embarrassment caused by acne. There is no question that people find problem with their confidence because they do not have perfect appearance with the acne. That is why people should make acne prevention with some simple ways related to their daily habit. It can be difficult at the first time but people will get used to the steps pretty soon.
Hygiene Maintenance
There are some simple steps which should be taken in daily basis associated with the hygiene maintenance. Keeping their skin clean is important to prevent acne. It means that people should wash their face twice a day in the morning and at night. The face should be washed gently using warm water which is useful for opening the pores. After washing the face, they must not forget to apply moisturizer on their face. Different moisturizer should be used for different skin type. Skin exfoliation should also be done once a week so the dead skin can be eliminated and the pores can be unclogged. It will also be useful for improving the skin complexion. It is important not to go to sleep with the makeup on. Removing makeup before go to sleep will be useful for avoiding the clogged pores which can cause acne. People should avoid touching the face with hands. Pillow case should also be replaced every week. Hair routine should be paid attention more and people should stay away from the direct sunlight exposure.
Diet and Exercise
People cannot make any prevention of acne if they do not involve the diet change and regular exercise. They need to drink enough water so their skin can keep hydrated which is useful for keeping the clear skin. Healthy eating should also be involved in daily habit. Balanced diet should be consumed including lean protein, fruits, vegetables, grains, whole wheat, healthy fats, seeds, and nuts. For avoiding acne, people should also eat foods which are rich in vitamin A, zinc, and also omega-3 fatty acids. Foods with high glycemic index which can cause skin problem should be avoided. Excessive smoking and alcohol should be avoided. Regular exercise can reduce stress and it will be also be useful to prevent acne.
